Tri-C is On the Ballot This Fall

The Cuyahoga Community College Board of Trustees has voted to place a 1.2 mill renewal levy with a 0.9 mill increase on the November 4th ballot.

This levy is important because:

As an affordable, high-quality college, Tri-C is critical to the success of families and our local economy;
The levy is necessary to sustain Tri-C’s enormous educational and economic impact;
Tri-C has been fiscally responsible, cutting millions to save money and focusing resources on student success;
Without the levy, Tri-C would have to cut $40-million more annually, which would be devastating.

The request asks property owners for an additional investment of $2.63 per month on a $100,000 home. Early voting begins in Cuyahoga County on October 7th. In person voting is on November 4th.
